My Complete Review of Potion Kitchen Skincare:
Potion Kitchen Face Food Clay Masks: Moringa / Matcha
I’ll start with my favourites… face masks, which by the way were very easy to use! I can say with full confidence that both the Moringa and Match clay masks result in BEAUTIFUL soft skin that glows. Without a doubt, I recommend the clay masks.
I would follow with a few drops of Potion Kitchen Miracle Serum (reviewed below) or your favourite face cream/serum.
Ingredients: Kaolin clay, moringa oleifera powder (Moringa) / Kaolin Clay, Camellia sinensis leaf powder (Matcha)
Price: USD 17
How to use: Mix 1 to 2 teaspoons of mask with a few drops of water in a non-metal bowl (I used a porcelain bowl). Avoid the eye area when applying. Leave for 5-10 minutes. Remove with a wet washcloth.
Where to buy: Moringa – Matcha
Product Score: Packaging: 4/5 – Effectiveness: 5/5 – Price: 5/5 – Ease of use: 5/5

Potion Kitchen Moringa Miracle Potion Facial Serum For Oily Skin
Enriched with a blend of natural ingredients including moringa, jojoba and eucalyptus, Potion Kitchen Moringa Miracle Potion Facial Serum provides a boost of moisture to your skin.
I love this serum. It comes in a small glass bottle with a Doppler and smells beautiful. This specific blend is for oily skin (there is another one for dry skin). I use it in the evening after my shower (twice a week) to keep my skin hydrated and sometimes follow with face cream. The Miracle Potion a great facial serum, which directly blended into my skin without leaving a thick residue. I believe the bottle will last at least 4 months since I’ve been using it for weeks and it’s still filled to the top!
The first time I used this serum by Potion Kitchen was after the Moringa Face Food Clay Mask which helped me achieve that beautiful skin glow. I feel that serum is better absorbed after a mask or exfoliation.
Note: If you have oily skin, it’s best not to use oils and thick creams on a daily basis to avoid getting whiteheads, so 1-2 times per week is better 🙂
Ingredients: Moringa, jojoba and eucalyptus
Price: USD 29
How to use: Dollop a few drops onto your fingers and massage in.

Potion Kitchen Hair Heroes Hair Treatment
A blend of 10 powerful oils, this hair treatment by Potion Kitchen is the same traditional oiling technique that has been used for centuries to treat and nurture hair.
I have oily hair, so I’m not a huge fan of oiling it up even more. I think this product is more suitable for those who have dry or damaged hair.
Ingredients: Prunus amygdalus oil, Vitis Vinifera oil, Ricinus communis oil, Persea gratissima oil, Cocos nucifera oil, Olea Europea oil, Moringa oleifera oil, Lavandula angustifolia oil, Rosemarinus Officinalis, Alpha tocopheryl oil
Price: USD 26 for 200ml / USD 10 for 60ml
How to use: Apply to hair from tips to roots and leave it for 2 hours before shower / Do NOT use too much oil on your hair as it will end up way too greasy (I learned that the hard way) – use only 1 pump. Also, shower in warm-hot water to rinse the oil out thoroughly.
Product Score: Packaging: 4/5 – Effectiveness: N/A – Price: 5/5 – Ease of use: 5/5
Would I recommend this product? For those who have dry or damaged hair, yes.

Potion Kitchen Lavender Oil
The Lavender Oil by Potion Kitchen is so easy to use since it’s very fluid! Just two pumps of the stuff are enough for one leg (I’m expecting this product to last a rather long time). I get really dry legs especially in the colder seasons, to the point where you’ll find nail marks in all places (ekk). I apply this lavender oil every night before bed and after 2 weeks, it definitely helped me with the dryness / itchiness and always leaves my legs VERY smooth.
The scent of lavender is not as intense as I expected.
Ingredients: Prunus amygdalus oil, Vitis Vinifera oil, Persea gratissima oil, Lavandula angustifolia oil, Alpha locopheryl oil
Price: USD 26
How to use: Apply lavender oil right after shower before drying on wet legs/body
Product Score: Packaging: 5/5 – Effectiveness: 5/5 – Price: 5/5 – Ease of use: 5/5

Potion Kitchen Arabica Coffee Body Scrub
This Arabica Coffee Body Scrub by Potion Kitchen made my skin super soft with just one use! Ideally, after using this scrub, I’m supposed to use the lavender oil to hydrate. However, even if I forget to use the oil (and I have forgotten a few times when in a rush), my skin remains soft. I love the coarse grainy texture (perfect for scrubbing!) and it smells fantastic too… like a fresh cup of coffee. Highly recommended!
Ingredients: Organic coconut oil, shea butter, coffee powder, almond oil, apricot kernel powder and salt
Price: USD 22
How to use: Use around 2-3 dollops of the scrub (using a small spoon, not your fingers), scrub into your skin in the shower (add a little bit of water), and then rinse off!
Product Score: Packaging: 4/5 (I would have liked a cute small spoon to come with it because it’s not hygienic to dip your fingers into the tub) – Effectiveness: 5/5 – Price: 5/5 – Ease of use: 5/5
Would I recommend this product? YES, YES and most definitely, YES!

Potion Kitchen Lavender Essential Oil
Lavender Essential Oil helps soothe irritated skin and reduces redness, scarring and any blotchy patches. It’s great for stress too, did you know that? I always keep a vial of lavender essential oil in my handbag (even before I met Potion Kitchen). I like to rub a little bit of the oil on my wrists. It smells beautiful and has an almost immediate calming effect. I also use it for motion sickness – ever get that nauseating feeling after using your phone in the car (even when you’re not the one behind the wheel)? Guilty!
Ingredients: 100% pure lavender oil
Price: USD 10 (Not sold on Mint Basil Market)
Product Score: Packaging: 5/5 – Effectiveness: 5/5 – Price: 5/5 – Ease of use: N/A
Would I recommend this product? YES
