Considered the “design hub of the Levant and the Middle East”, Beirut is a global hotspot for rising talent.
Beirut Design Fair is the first event of its kind to take place in Beirut featuring unique collectible and limited edition furniture and design objects. Its second edition set for September 2018 lists 60 exhibitors and 150 designers, including European galleries.
Don’t miss the 2nd edition which takes place at Seaside Arena Beirut (previously BIEL) from September 20-23, 2018 (free entry). There will also be an exclusive VIP opening on September 19th.
Last year, Beirut Design Fair’s first edition brought together over almost 17,000 visitors, a number expected to exceed 20,000 this year!
The event has a non-commercial program including conferences, workshops, installations, and even live performances.

The Beirut Design Fair 2018 press conference held in July at Liza Restaurant in Ashrafieh offered an introduction to the event, followed by a Lebanese brunch.
Founders and Collaborations
Beirut Design Fair is organized by co-founders Guillaume Taslé d’Héliand and Hala Moubarak, along with founding partner, Creditbank.
The Selection Committee for 2018 includes Aline Asmar d’Amman, Lina Ghotmeh, Karim Chaya, Marc Baroud and Mathias Ohrel. This committee participates in the event’s development, exhibitors screening, and the results of the 3 Design Awards of the Beirut Design Fair 2018 edition.
Galal Mahmoud, President of GM Architects, a luxury Lebanese architecture and interior design company renowned internationally, has collaborated with Beirut Design Fair on its overall set-up where visitors will feel like they’re discovering the soul of the city through its unique art.
Furthermore, Beirut Design Fair is in partnership with Beirut Art Fair which is now in its ninth edition and expects over 30,000 visitors this year.
